Luke carefully sets down the story of Jesus so faith can rest on what happened. With a historian’s care and a physician’s eye for those overlooked, the song notices the poor, the sick, the grieving, and the lost. From Bethlehem to the empty tomb, Jesus brings mercy to people of every station. Its memorable promise is that no one is too lost to be found.
