Philemon

Checking availability…

Philemon receives Paul’s appeal to welcome Onesimus as a brother rather than define him by an old label or debt. The song leaves the difficult choice where the letter leaves it: in the hands of people who claim the love of Christ. It asks whether a willing welcome can make reconciliation real. Jesus, who receives and changes us, gives the appeal its deeper meaning.
