Second Peter urges believers to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus while guarding against false teachers. The song holds His promised return in view without turning the wait into fear or speculation. God’s patience gives people time to turn, and the coming Day calls for holy living. Its refrain asks listeners to grow in grace and keep trusting the faithful Savior.
