Exodus tells of a people brought out of bondage and led through the sea toward a new life with God. The song sees Jesus in the Passover lamb, the bread from heaven, and the rock that gave water in the wilderness. Its call is to leave the chains behind, follow the Lord’s leading, and trust the One who brings His people out and carries them through.
