Jeremiah

Jeremiah weeps over a people who trust in a holy building while neglecting justice and the truth. The song brings the prophet’s warning into a prayer: write Your word on my heart, not merely on my lips. It also remembers the promised righteous Branch and a new covenant. Jesus brings that hope near, calling for a life that means the words it prays.
