The Day of the Lord

Song: 210  •  Album: The Greatest Gift  •  About NECM

“The Day of the Lord” is a sobering prophetic warning about the coming judgment of God, the shaking of nations, and the return of Jesus Christ. It calls people to repent, believe in Christ, watch, pray, obey God, and seek mercy while there is still time. The song also carries a glorious hope: Jesus will return as King, Satan will be bound, the nations will learn God’s way of peace, and the Kingdom of God will fill the earth—the Day of the Lord as both a warning and a glorious dawn for those who turn to God.
