What Is Truth

He stood before him,
the one who would condemn Him,
with piercing eyes that looked
deep into Pilate’s soul.
That’s when Pontius Pilate
asked Jesus Christ,
“What is truth?”
Jesus said to him,
“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life,
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
The truth is Jesus is the way,
the truth, and the life.

“What is truth?” Pilate said.
“What is truth?” “I am truth,” Jesus said.
“Believe in Me. Even though you die,
you will come back alive again.”
That’s the truth.

Pilate’s wife said to him,
“Have nothing to do with this just Man.”
She had a dream about Him.
Pilate felt that Jesus
had done no wrong
and wanted to pardon Him.
But Jesus’ fate was set.
He knew that night
He would be dead.

The truth of the love of God
exposes the darkness in our hearts.
The truth of the love of God
brought Jesus Christ to us.
The truth of the love of God
let Jesus Christ die for us.
The truth of the love of God
will give eternal life to us.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life,
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
The truth is that Jesus gave
His own life.

“What is truth?” Pilate said.
“What is truth?” “I am truth,” Jesus said.
“Believe in Me. Even though you die,
you will come back alive again.”
That’s the truth.

The leaders of the Jews
were mean and vicious men.
The leaders of the Jews
had turned the crowd on Him.
Pilate faced the people,
trying to save Jesus,
but they shouted back,
“Crucify Him!”
So Pilate gave Him to them,
then washed his hands that day.
Jesus was beaten, scourged, and spit upon,
then led away to die.
All that they did,
He did not deserve.
Jesus is the way,
the truth, and the life.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
The truth is He offers you eternal life.

“What is truth?” Pilate said.
“What is truth?” “I am truth,” Jesus said.
“I am truth. Believe in Me.
Even though you die,
you will come back alive.”
And that’s the truth.

He carried His cross
up the hill.
Then they lifted
Him onto it.
Nails in His hands,
nails in His feet,
He was nearing
the end of His life.
Time for Him to sleep
for three days
and three nights.
He cried, “It is finished,”

then He died.
They laid Him in a grave
and rolled a great stone
in front of it.
For three days
that’s where He lay,
then He rose again
alive that day.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life,
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
The truth is that He can be
by your side.

What is truth? Jesus died.
What is truth? He came back alive.
What is truth? Jesus is truth.
What is truth? Jesus is alive.
Jesus lives — it’s the truth.

Mary came that morning
to prepare Him,
but when she reached the tomb,
there was no sign of Him.
She started to cry,
she did not know why,
then Jesus stood beside her
and said,
“Mary, don’t cry.
It is I.”
Mary wanted to hold Him,
Mary wanted to cling to Him,
but Jesus gently told her,
“Do not touch Me yet.
I must ascend,
but don’t you fear,
go tell the others
I am alive.”.”

What is truth? Jesus is alive.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life,
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
Jesusis still alive.

What is truth? Jesus died.
What is truth? He came back alive.

What is truth? Jesus is truth.
What is truth? Jesus is alive.
