Hold on to Jesus
Album: Action • About NECM
Hold On to Jesus is steady encouragement for storms, setbacks, and uncertain seasons. It reminds listeners that when the waves knock them down and the winds spin them around, Jesus remains the Captain and guide. The song calls believers to keep their eyes on Him, turn from sin, and trust that He will not let them down when life becomes hard to navigate.

“And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
“[To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.] God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
