God Bless Our Troops
Album: God Bless Our Troops • About NECM
God Bless Our Troops is a prayer of gratitude for the men and women who serve in uniform and for the families who carry the weight of their sacrifice. It pictures sunrise in an American town, deployment, courage, concern, and hope. The song asks the Lord to strengthen, protect, and bring them safely home, while reminding listeners that honoring service also means standing with those who stand for us.

“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;”
“The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
The God Bless Our Troops Companion Book complements the story this song is telling. It also includes a practice-test concept, and the full test will be available in the app.
